More Bloody Sanguinarians! (pun intended)

So got some mini golden boys on the go. These will make up a Sanguniary Host for apocalypse. The whol force I am doing is meant to be one anyways.

You might recognise them if you have read my B&C thread. The guy one in from the right has gone through a few incarnations before I got him to this state and he looks much better now.

What were my void assault marines, they have been requisitioned for the good of the chapter

These guys are meant to look like Sanguinius as he appears on the SG bpx's flag.

And finally some vanguard vets that will probably get some halberds as their weapon of choice. They are bad ass enough to kill a dread so the bases will all  be similarly themed. That and I am lazy and the two arms were the easiest thing to pin them too. That's what you get from ebay bargains, why are the slots always cut off.

That's the lot. Now I can get back to painting the rest of my company now I have been suitably distracted by this lot.

The Sanguinary Termies are getting closer to being finished.

The fists will all get red on them, concious of wanting them not to look like a nasty accident at MacDonald's. Here's one guy with fists done (mostly)

Something for the weekend.

So, there has been some life aboard ship this week. A bit more on my Sanguinary Guard Termies:

 A lot of ebay action too, I just can't help myself. These guys will be the basis of one of my regular sang guard squads.

 A forge dread. Needs a lick of paint in the correct colours obviously.

 Assault termies, they were yellow, what can I say.

These is not an ebay purchase. This is my bro's Howling Griffon chapter master. I offered to do a new version for him, He said yes. Think it will keep me occupied when I've had it with painting yellow..........bugger.

Chequers chequers chequers.............

Getting a bit fed up with all these chequers. Not quite sure where to go with the paint job now, any suggestions?

I was thinking have the left leg yellow and not chequered and then have the left kneepad with a red stripe on it alla lamenter helmets.

A lick of paint on my Sanguinary Guard Terminators this weekend. These guys will either count as regular termies or assault termies (depending on how I'm feeling). There will be a lot of chequers as demonstrated by first guy in from the right.
